Website under contruction

My name is Abigail Thomas, I am both an artist & freelance arts producer, & curator living in London, UK.

In my creative practice I’m inspired by analogue objects, liminal spaces, and asemic writing. I’m an avid gel-printer, I collage, I make artists’ books, I bind sketchbooks I sometimes sell at markets, I’m a journal-keeper, and I sometimes write text and poetry.

I have a Masters degree in Book Arts from UAL; where my focus was on the future of reading, text, and the book as a reading machine. Fast forward 15 years and last year I left a full time job in the arts sector, as a curator/arts producer/events organiser, to try to find more balance in my life, and reconnect to my artistic practice with renewed enthusiasm and commitment.

I’m now working freelance again alongside my re-emerging art practice; and I’m available for part-time long, or short-term projects in a variety of roles. Get in touch if you’re interested in learning more about my experience and how I might help you realise and deliver your creative projects.

Please check back soon when I should have built more of this new website and have more to share! In the meantime you can find me over on Substack with my publication called The Liminal Page, and on Instagram as @moripaperstudio.
